These interactive game drives across the Eingedi farm, with the majestic Maluti Mountains as a backdrop, can be enjoyed in the tranquil moods of sunrise and sunset, or during the warmth of our beautiful sunny E.Freestate days.  

This experience is definitely for guests in pursuit of an exhilarating adventure, while having a close-up encounter viewing the plains game from our unique open 4×4 vehicle. Affectionately named Caleb, this Unimog, an ex-Lesotho-military vehicle with a shade-cloth cover, has the strength of a rhinoceros, and easily takes guests up and down the steep and exciting 4×4 terrain of our game farm. 

Guests can expect to see our stately Eland, playful Black and Blue Wildebeest, galloping Red Hartebeest, white-faced Blesbuck, stripy Zebras, and reddish Impala near enough to capture them on photos, and hopefully be able to video the beautiful leaps of our graceful Springbuck moving across the grasslands. The Ostrich racing around at great speed, always bring a smile to the face. Guests may be fortunate enough to witness the interesting display of squawks and flight patterns of the Northern Black Korhaan, or see the crested, long-legged Secretary bird in flight, after its interesting take-off. 

Interesting historical and geographical facts of the area are also included, and if the route takes us past an anthill that has been raided by the nocturnal Aardvark, we stop for the youngsters to climb into. This is always a highlight.
